I’ve had this turtle on my phone for a while now. I’m not sure where the image came from but the moment I saw it, I fell in love with him. On reddit, the title says that this turtle is 100 years old. Whatever he is, he’s awesome.
So, I’m doing something a bit different today in showing you the original and my interpretation. I don’t like my interpretation. It’s too flat. I’m not sure where I could add shading or highlights to show the depth on this guys face. Any ideas?
I’d like to figure this one out. I’d love to try to carve him in a woodblock.
